Firecreek (1968) James Stewart, Henry Fonda, Inger Stevens

For two actors who actually loved each other, I mean really just liked each other A LOT, it makes me sad to see Fonda torturing people in this film including his great friend Stewart. When you see them in "The Cheyenne Social Club," that's really how they were in real life. Great friends. But it's true, Fonda made a heck of a "bad man" (see "Once Upon a Time in the West&quot.

Stewart is 16 years older than his wife in this film. That sort of thing must have seemed very normal long ago. Today it just wouldn't fly.
